In 2016 Chef Omar found his grandmother Yasmina's handwritten recipe notebook. Dar Yasmina is his love letter to it: the dishes of a Cairo family table, cooked with today's technique and the oldest tool there is — fire.
Everything is made in-house, from our saj bread to our pickles. Our produce comes from farms in Fayoum and the Delta, and our garden terrace seats 120 under the old trees of Maadi.
